Another month's gone by and I've still not gotten my laptop back. The cold turkey's been unbearable. The nails've been chewed off, the hair's been pulled out and the shakes have made writing impossible. Jaysis, how did I manage before? But after a ton of mails and calls progress has finally been made, and hopefully a resolution is now in sight...

I've been meaning to add some practical advice to this site for a while now - especially when it comes to the area of exercises that help those with back problems. Up til now I thought I might have to go down the route of filming myself but was reluctant to do so as it would force people to be lookin' at me - and believe me, that's something that should really be done with a government health warning. Especially as I loves wearin' me spandex...

Exercise. They all say it, all them doctors and physios and people who
aren't in pain. And the natural reaction of those of us in pain is to
withdraw, close down, shut out those people and their know-it-all
attitude. What do they know? They're not the ones in pain right? How dare they sit there and tell you to do something that will make you hurt! Right?
